GANADORES DE LOS BAFTA TV 2017
Anoche se celebró la gala de entrega de los premios Bafta de la Televisión. La gran nominada «The Crown» se fue con las manos vacías, pero «Happy Valley» logró hacerse con el gran galardón. Aquí tenéis todos los premiados:

‘The Night Manager’ podría tener 2ª temporada
A pesar de que la famosa serie de la BBC y la AMC no ha sido renovada aún de forma oficial, según informa Digital Spy ya se están desarrollando los guiones lentamente.
La directora de la ‘The Night Manager’, Susana Bier, dijo “Todos queremos hacer una segunda temporada, pero lo que no queremos es hacer algo que no esté a la altura de la primera. Creo que es realmente saludable si ocurre y hay un poco de tiempo. Porque tienes que superar el temor de, ‘¿Cómo se vuelve a algo tan bueno de nuevo?, tienes que dejar ir eso y centrarte en el material nuevo. Así que nos encantaría hacerlo pero no sabemos ni cómo ni cuándo ocurrirá.”
El productor Simon Cornwell comentó que tanto la AMC como la BBC están interesados en esa segunda temporada pero por lo que Bier deja entrever, parece que habrá que tener algo de paciencia si al final se lleva a cabo.
La mini-serie, basada en un libro de John LeCarré con el mismo título, tuvo un gran éxito entre el público y la crítica. También se la premió con tres Globos de Oro a Tom Hiddleston como mejor actor principal, Hugh Laurie como mejor actor de reparto y Olivia Colman como mejor actriz de reparto; así como también dos premios Emmy: uno a Víctor Reyes por su banda sonora y otro para su directora Susana Bier.
Para todos aquellos que aún no la hayáis visto, “The Night Manager” sigue a un ex soldado británico, Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) reclutado por Angela Burr (Olivia Colman) para infiltrarse en el círculo íntimo del traficante de armas Richard Onslow Roper (Hugh Laurie) para desarmar la alianza que Roper construyó entre los servicios de inteligencia y la red de tráfico de armas.

Primer trailer de «The Night Manager»
Uno de los estrenos más esperados de este año, que no son pocos, es la miniserie de la BBC y AMC, The Night Manager (en español El infiltrado). Esta miniserie está protagonizada por Tom Hiddleston (The Hollow Crown), Hugh Laurie (House), Olivia Colman (Broadchurch), Tom Hollander (Rev.) y Elizabeth Debicki (The Kettering Incident).
La historia está basada en la novela homónima del escritor John le Carré:
Un ex soldado británico, Jonthan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) es reclutado por Burr (Olivia Colman) una agente de la inteligencia británica. Su misión consistirá en infiltrase en el negocio del tráfico de armas, haciéndose pasar por un asesino. Tendrá que lidiar con el más peligroso traficante de armas: Richard Onslow Roper (Hugh Laurie).
La miniserie está divida en 6 partes y se emitirá en la BBC y el canal AMC en febrero de este año.
Se estrena el 24 de febrero.
