Tráiler y póster oficial de la 2ª temporada de «GLOW»
El próximo 29 de junio, Netflix estrena la 2ª temporada de «GLOW«, la serie protagonizada por Alison Brie (Community»). A pocas semanas del estreno, la plataforma streaming ha publicado el póster oficial de esta nueva temporada junto con el tráiler completo que os dejo a continuación:
La sinopsis oficial de esta temporada es la siguiente:
«La segunda temporada sigue a las mujeres de GLOW mientras se convierten en celebrities y se enfrentan a lo bueno, lo malo y las realidades más feas de su nueva fama. Mientras Ruth y Debbie se adaptan al día a día de hacer una serie de televisión juntas, tendrán que superar conflictos que se han quedado sin resolver en el corazón de su amistad. Sam sigue siendo Sam, pero ahora tiene una hija adolescente que vive con él y veinte episodios para producir en masa. La lucha libre se hace más difícil, hay mucho más en juego y sus peinados son aún más grandes.«
Novedades de junio de Netflix
Con el final de mayo llega el final de la temporada tradicional de series, pero… no ocurre lo mismo con las plataformas de streaming. Gracias a ellas los seriéfilos tendremos un buen suplemento de series nuevas durante los meses del parón de verano.
En el caso de Netflix, estas son las series que estrenará durante el mes de junio:
- 1 de junio:
‘Tú, yo y ella’: tercera temporada.
- 2 de junio:
‘Something in the rain’: primera temporada.
- 8 de junio:
‘Sense 8’: capítulo final.
‘Marcella’: segunda temporada.
- 12 de junio:
‘Champions’: primera temporada.
- 15 de junio:
‘The Ranch’: parte 5.
- 22 de junio:
‘Luke Cage’: segunda temporada.
- 26 de junio:
‘Secret City’: primera temporada.

Netflix anuncia nuevos proyectos y renovaciones para esta temporada
Esta semana se ha celebrado en Roma un gran evento en el que Netflix ha anunciado muchas novedades.
Entre ellas destacan 10 nuevas producciones europeas:
- Siete nuevas series originales:
–La primera serie original holandesa de Netflix que se estrenará en 2019: «En la ciudad liberal de Amsterdam, estos estudiantes holandeses lo tienen acceso a todo: juventud, riqueza, sexo, poder… y hasta un portal que accede a un lugar habitado por demonios de la Edad de Oro de Holanda que abrieron por accidente.«
-«Mortel« (Francia): «La quinta serie original francesa de Netflix cuenta la historia de unos adolescentes que están unidos por una fuerza sobrenatural.» La serie será creada por Frédéric García y producida por Mandarin Television.
-«The Wave» (Alemania). La tercera serie original alemana de Netflix está basada en la exitosa película «La Ola», e inspirada en hechos reales. La serie estará producida por Rat Pack, en asociación con Sony Pictures Television Germany.
-«Luna Nera» (Italia). Una serie original sobre mujeres sospechosas de hacer brujería en la Italia del siglo XVII, creada por Francesca Manieri, Laura Paolucci y Tiziana Triana, y producida por Fandango.
-«La Casa de Papel Parte 3« (España). Después del éxito mundial de la Parte 1 y 2 de este fenómeno español, El Profesor diseñará nuevos robos que se desvelarán en 2019.
-«The English Game» (Reino Unido). «Un drama de seis episodios sobre la invención del fútbol y cómo aquellas personas involucradas en su creación lucharon durante la división de clases para establecer el juego como uno de los deportes más populares del mundo.» Estará producida por 42 y escrita por el creador de «Downton Abbey», Julian Fellowes.
-«Turn Up Charlie» (Reino Unido), una nueva serie original de comedia protagonizada por Idris Elba. La serie de ocho episodios estará producida por Idris Elba y Gary Reich.
- Dos nuevas series documentales:
-«Una serie documental basada en uno de los casos más famosos de la historia francesa: el asesinato de Grégory Villemin en 1984. Elodie Polo Ackermann participa como productora (Imagissime – Lagardère Studios) y Gilles Marchand como showrunner.«
-«The Staircase«, «la historia de Michael Peterson, un escritor de novelas de crimen que fue acusado de asesinar a su esposa Kathleen después de descubrir su cuerpo a los pies de las escaleras de su hogar, y la batalla judicial de 16 años que siguió al suceso. Los nuevos episodios de este fenómeno del crimen se emitirán junto con la serie original. El documental será producido por Matthieu Belghiti, y producida y dirigida por el ganador del premio Óscar, Jean-Xavier de Lestrade.«
- La primera película italiana de Netflix, «Rimetti a Noi i Nostri Debiti» («Perdónanos nuestras deudas»), de Antonio Morabito con Claudio Santamaria, Marco Giallini y Jerzy Stuhr.
En este evento también se anunció que el 29 de junio se estrenaría la 2ª temporada de «GLOW» y se mostró las primeras imágenes de «Maniac«. la serie protagonizada por Emma Stone y Jonah Hill:

– Que la 2ª temporada de «Dark» empezaría su producción el 25 de junio.

Nominaciones televisivas a los SAG Awards 2018
Esta semana va de premios y nominaciones televisivas. Las ultimas nominaciones en anunciarse han sido la de los SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild Awards), que se celebrarán el domingo 21 de enero. La gala será presentada por Kristen Bell, la protagonista de series como «Veronica Mars» y «The Good Place«.
